The winter season is coming up and around this time we like to do a recap of what we have learned so far at Golden Gloves Fitness. With our prize fighter Augustino, we have learned that a combination of seriousness and willingness to learn leads to readiness for the ring. This leads us to our next point, you have to have a routine. Only with consistent practice boxing and fitness will get more doable. However, you always have to switch things up to make the workouts more interesting. Our coach, Alex, is great at changing things up because he knows that you have to be prepared & ready before going into the ring.

Looking back, we have accomplished a lot so far this year. We have prepared our professional fighter, changed people’s lives and trained countless people that want to go above and beyond with their fitness. We also learned by keeping motivated and continuing training leads to changes and improvements to anybody’s life. Indeed, you do become better and strong when working out. If you ask our coach Alex what works best when it comes to training, he will always tell you: practice. Practice the point where your body is biologically programmed to train. Like this, you will always remain in the mood for more training.
