What is your fitness style?

What is your fitness personality? Your fitness character or style? Everybody has a way of doing things. Have you molded a way to do fitness that fits you? Today we are going to get into exactly this and what it means by having a fitness “character”. You have probably already guessed it, it is the ‘you’ when you walk into the gym. It is your approach & excitement, it is your way to get the workout done so that you feel satisfied and so that you can leave without thinking if your workout was good or not.

For example, there is a guy, his style is stomping. That’s right: stomping. He stomps everywhere. He stomps on the treadmill, fitness, stylehe stomps when he makes his way to other exercises, he even stomps out of the gym to show that’s his style; that’s how gets things done and best believe that’s how he is drenched sweat. That sweat, as we mentioned before, is super important for you to make actual improvements in your fitness levels.

Another gym enthusiast has a battle cry. He does a “bring it on!” and other moves that are unique to him, sometimes even dance moves. It does not matter to others, it matters to him. That’s his style and that’s what is important: he is getting his workout done. This all boils down to the mechanics of working out. You tell yourself “ok, it’s workout time” and your body subconsciously prepares for it and it is expecting it to happen. It doesn’t want to do it at 11 o’clock at night but at 4 pm, it’s “game on”! What is your “bring it on” style?

So, what makes “you” when you come to workout? Don’t have a style? Well, then, it is a great idea to hammer one out! It gives you character in the gym and an awesome body to couple it. One of our favourites is: “when I workout, I _______” fill it out for yourself; you do what? If you say: “slack“, well eliminate that description and put it in: “work hard“. This is what you want to be labeled as. Others want to labeled as “speedy” or “heavy hitter”. What matters is that you are forming your own “you” in the gym, which, in turn, will make the gym as a place that “you” go to and like this you eliminate excuses not to go to the gym in the first place.
