Let’s face it, most people dread the gym. But, it doesn’t have to be like this. This whole fitness being a drag thing can be eliminated altogether. How so? Today we will discuss exactly how to make fitness a part of your life. Your very first opponent is not even your body, it is your mind. The train of thoughts you have about fitness hammer out how your workout is going to be. If you step into the gym thinking “this is going to be hard”. Guess what? It is going to be hard. You have to send a clear message to your body that it is workout time.
Once your body has understood that it is game on and the switch has been turned on, it is ready and you must take the opportunity to take the plunge. Taking the plunge means breaking the sweat as quick as possible. If you don’t break a sweat, your body wont understand that you are working out because sweat contains different chemicals and hormones that allow your body to formulate and shape-up. If you are not sweating withing the first 10 minutes, you are doing something wrong. And this is where most people give up, they get to the gym, see it is hard to break a sweat and go back home.
You must set up stations and maintain a curious mind when working out. It gets easier as you progress because you have more to look at in the mirror but in the beginning just tell yourself that you are going to reap the benefits of being more dense, stronger, capable and good looking if you working out. We recommend having idols like Ali or whoever inspires you to keep you pushing to break the barriers. A lot of the time, you simply don’t have the right tools set up. Remember: be comfortable and make exercising a part of your character.
Once working out becomes a part of you, you will forget the dread of the gym. Stay excited and switch things up and always remember to be patient. Wouldn’t you want to tell how far you can go? Sweating and a good mentality will make body building a part of your character but always remember to time your workouts wisely. Don’t over do it. Go by the get in & get out strategy. Get in the gym and get out of there after an hour! Why? Because if you do it too much, there will be more up-keep later on. And, try to workout every-other-day rather then everyday! Stick to this regime with strict discipline and your dread of the gym will be minimized, our guarantee to you.
