Exercise at Golden Gloves

How does training and exercise begin at Golden Gloves?

Our trainers start first by analyzing your level and build your capabilities up from there. Firstly, we would like to begin by mentioning that boxing is a great source for being fit, energetic, and for your overall health. For your 1st class, our coach will start by assessing your level and build up your technique from there. Having a good form is paramount at our gym. Our coach Alex begins by building a good posture and boxing position and then continues onto training with focus pads, in pairs, boxing bags and other methods that is best for you.

All equipment and tools are provided to you. The classes are always customized and based on your capabilities. We will also show you how to punch straight, hooks, and uppercuts properly. We will also improve your boxing stance and overall core. There are also abdominal and cardio workouts involved getting you stretched properly for the boxing portion of the class such as abdominal press and skipping rope.

At Golden Gloves Fitness, 1st class is a free trail and there are no memberships or sign-up fees. We have different kinds of packages just for you; please do not hesitate to contact us. We’re open from Monday to Friday, 7am- 9pm and on Sundays 8am- 2pm. When you first come in, we will help you stretch and then we will move on to analyzing your movement, punches, and stance. Closer to the end of your session, you will do some cardio and abdominal exercising and if needed some weights. As a general rule, we always finish classes with stretching, cardio or abdominal work as a cool down method for your body.
